My first DIY post!
I am so excited to share with you how I curl my hair. I've been doing this for about 3 years now and it's the best thing ever... I may have forgotten how to use a normal curling iron.
I used to hate when I would try to curl my hair and you need that perfect "clamp hold" to prevent awkward creases.. and then your hair would get caught in the clamp.....
Anyhoo, this takes me about 5 minutes, and friends... God has blessed me with a lot of hair.
What you need:
1 1/4 Curling Iron (the one I used was $12 from Walmart)
I tried a couple of other curling wands before and it's just not the same type.
3 Simple Steps:
Now.. on to the how to!
First, comb your hair out and part into two sections.
Take a small section, wrap your hair around the wand counter-clockwise and hold for 5 seconds and RELEASE.
After you finish the first section, put down the top part and repeat. Spray hairspray to hold curls. FINITO!
I recommend you to practice with the wand turned off, because it will take some practice.
I hope you have even better hair days after trying this. Let me know if you have any questions too!
